What an incredible season 2009 Racers!

    The Racers are the most spirited, enthusiastic and talented group of young athletes in the Harford Swim League. The value of a team is not merely to win races, but the true worth of sports is that it instills discipline, teaches us to continuously strive to reach that next  stroke goal or time, encourages us to support our teammates through their disappointments and successes and shares with the community the gift of swimming that has blessed us. WOW!!! Our group of swimmers improved their times 616 times this year, broke into the top 5 record board 65 times ..and lost only one dual meet this year to the Joppatowne Tiger Sharks....In a surprising victory we beat the Fallston Club.. a top ranked Division 1 team..those FINS will be weary of the Racers in 2010!!  The Racers, for the second year, sponsored a swim-a-thon for The John Archer School and swam 2,977 heartfelt laps raising over $1,800 for their therapeutic swim program. We not only worked hard, all season but played hard too!!

    We sponsored a wacky racer meet, ate ice cream for breakfast and made lots of friends who we can't wait to get back together with again next year...and we can't wait for more friends to join us!! 

    Watch for updates-- Sign ups will be in mid April for the 2010 season. Our first practice will be June1st and our season will end on July 25th
