SWIM TEAM
Racers Rock! Be a swimmer on the best team in the Harford Swim League-  The Rock Spring Roaring Racers. What makes us different? It’s both our philosophy and commitment to our swimmers. We love to win, but most importantly we strive to make sure that each and every swimmer increases their self confidence, learns to set personal goals, becomes a devoted team member and prides themselves in being models of sportsmanship. We believe in “giving back” to the swim community that gives our swimmers so much. Each year we hold a swim-a-thon to raise money for the John Archer therapeutic swim program. Our coaches are excellent role models, skilled teachers, facilitators, and cheerleaders. They are already working to make sure the 2011 season is the best yet!! Our leader is Nick Baxter, a Racer since he was six and a coach for the past 4 years. He is an excellent leader, and his love of swimming shines in each swimmers face. We welcome Nichole Muzzii, an accomplished HSL veteran and highly regarded Bel Air High School coach, as well as Caitlan Mitchell who also was a committed Racer and and is a superb swim instructor at RSSC. We were lucky enough to have the enthusiastic Ricky Swartz join our coaching staff last year. What a cheerleader and teacher! We are excited that the steadfast Carley Nitchie  will be a junior coach on our staff. She is a senior swimmer who understands how to motivate and praise the younger team members. We can’t say enough about our parents who volunteer their time to ensure that each year is both positive and fun filled. Think about it—what a better way for your kids to start their day!..and it is a team that they can be a member of until they are eighteen. What friendships they form! Come to sign ups-Meet the coaches, present team members and parents. Non pool members are welcome too! The Racer enthusiasm is contagious!
